If you would prefer to have one-on-one instruction, Rena will be happy to accommodate you.
Potter's Wheel
Learn Asian wheel-throwing techniques—no need to use a lot of water or “muscle” the clay. Instruction in the wheel includes classes, sometimes several, in wedging, centering, opening, shaping, and trimming. Rena will guide you through each step.
Hand-building
You may prefer one hour private classes. Focus on your projects and avoid the distractions of other students in a group class. Day or evening, weekday or weekend classes are available. Sign up for one or more classes. They are appropriate for beginners or experienced artists. From your first class on, you will make artwork you are proud of.
Time: 1 hour classes
Date: Dates chosen by class participant.
Registration fee: $50 for Hand-building; $65 for Potter's Wheel
Prerequisite for classes: Beginners' Workshop is recommended for hand-building and required for wheel.
